My own interest in outdoor cycling only really began a few years ago. I had been teaching RPM (static cycling) in gyms for the last 11 years and decided I wanted a new a challenge and had a desire to soak up some scenery, get some fresh air and enjoy an obligatory latte with friends at my favourite café after a long and hard ride together.

During my rides I started to recognise that many recreational cyclists didn’t have the core strength to help stabilise themselves on the bike or to efficiently use their leg strength. I recognised imbalances that were leading to ‘niggles’ and injuries and heard stories of cyclists burning out from cycling too hard but never reaching their goals. This is when I realised there was a need for a program like BIKEBLITZ.

This programme is a way of being able to reach out to cyclists that don’t know how to improve their strength, posture and fitness. A way to train the body for cycling and reduce the chances of injuries from imbalances.
